She decided to pursue a degree in architectural studies at Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC However, she ultimately left school for a full-time acting profession. Her film debut when she starred in the film 'Down Twisted'. She started gaining fame after playing one of the most important roles in the horror slasher film "Scream'.
